Elizabethan hair


In the elizabethan era hair was wore down to represent innocene and purity
Women who wore there hair up were usually married.

Elizabethans had unique hairstyles that required padding or wire to hold a certain shape or even wearing wigs.
Queen Elizabeth made red frizzy hair very fashionable at that time.
Wealthy females would wear jewels or pearls in the hair or a type of small cap made of what looks like lace and jewels at the back of the head
